Racing controls, modes and tracks
JoinPal Racing is a 3D kart race for up to six racers. The car speeds up by itself, so you only steer, brake and drift. The first racer to complete all laps wins.
Controls
- Steering: the left and right buttons, or swipe a finger left or right anywhere on the screen. The swipe sensitivity can be set from 1 to 10.
- Brake: hold to stop, and keep holding to reverse.
- Keyboard: the arrow keys or A and D to steer, and S, the down arrow or Space to brake.
The driving buttons can sit on the right or the left side of the screen.
Drifts and boosts
Hold a full turn at speed to start a drift. Let go after a short drift for a small boost, or after a longer drift for a big one; blue and then orange sparks show the charge. Boost pads and sprint ramps give a burst of speed, driving right behind another car gives a slipstream, and grass slows you down. Some tracks have hills and jump ramps.
Against the computer
Race 1, 3 or 5 computer cars at Easy, Medium or Hard level, over 1, 3 or 5 laps. A race against the computer is saved on your device, so you can continue it later.
With friends
Create a race lobby with 2, 3, 4 or 6 seats and share the invitation, or invite players directly. The host picks the track and starts the race, and can fill empty seats with computer cars.
With random players
Join a race with other players who chose the same number of laps. It starts when six racers are in or 12 seconds after the lobby opens, and computer cars take any empty seats. Finishing first, second or third in an online race earns coins.
The tracks
Five tracks: Meadow Loop, Sunset Bay, Red Rock Canyon, Twilight Peaks and Grand Arena.
