Roulette rules and payouts
JoinPal roulette is European roulette for one to five players, played with virtual chips only. Each round, players place bets on the table, the wheel spins, and winning bets are paid out. There is no real money in JoinPal.
The wheel
The European wheel has 37 pockets: the numbers 1 to 36, half red and half black, and a green zero. Each spin is drawn by the server with a cryptographic random number generator.
Bets and payouts
- Single number: 35 to 1.
- Split, two neighbouring numbers: 17 to 1.
- Corner, four numbers that meet at a corner: 8 to 1.
- Dozen (1–12, 13–24 or 25–36) or column: 2 to 1.
- Red or black, odd or even, low (1–18) or high (19–36): 1 to 1.
A winning bet returns its stake plus the payout.
Zero
Zero is green and wins only for bets that include it. When the ball lands on zero, all outside bets, such as red or black, odd or even, low or high, dozens and columns, lose.
A round
Players place their bets, then the wheel spins. Depending on the room's rules, the spin starts when everyone is ready or when the betting timer runs out. The result and every player's winnings are shown after each spin.
How a game ends
- Time limit: when the time is up, the player with the most chips wins.
- Last player standing: the game ends when only one player still has chips.
- Target balance: the first player to reach the target wins.
Equal top balances are a draw. Playing alone at a solo table works the same way.
